Hope this is ok to post this here.

We are looking for a set of commonwealth TSO springs (or even TSO bogies) and drawings. Can anyone help!?

I'm confused!:Shifty: Oops. We seem to have a whole new raft of Emoticons.

Back to the subject. Can you clarify. Are you looking for springs, or bogies, or drawings?

I'm no expert on the subject but, for a TSO, with double water tanks at one end, then assuming the Primaries are at the correct ride height, then with the Secondaries, having to carry the extra weight of full water tanks, would normally be adjusted by placing 'spacers' under the secondary springs.

I've never had to remove Secondary springs but, may have to in the near future, which could be interesting.....NOT!

If you consider the existing springs to be 'knackered', which I'd very much doubt, then there are a number of companies that can 'make them good'.

Ken sorry for the delay. We have drawings and spring codes, we just don't have the springs! We are after CB6/7/12/13 springs...

If you have the drawings and the codes then there are a number of people that could probably make them for you. Jones Springs of Darlaston comes to mind.

As to anyone 'scrapping' Commonwealth bogies and having surplus springs.........Rocking Horse manure comes to mind.

I'm intrigued. How is it that you have acquired bogies that are without springs?

    Ken,
we have the drawings and someone to make them but they are expensive with a long lead time. We do have bogies with springs, just not the right kind of springs, there are lots of combinations of springing...
