    The colour picture of MUD, taken parked by a house was Lizzies house. Her husband, at the time, worked at the MHR, and borrowed the bus for a weekend, and that's when the picture was taken. For some reason she liked the bus and had been trying to find out what happened to MUD after she left the MHR. I told her what I knew, which was very little really, after the yard was sold, in the early 90's. A time when I had no job, no money!

    And it was probably in the 60's, by the condition of the engines.

    yes...I visited twice in the ealry 70s. Entry was via a broken down fence in the coach park the first time when I arrived by train and any photos I had (which are now lost) would probably also have coaches in the background. Second time I came by car and just drove in to the yard and parked up.

    Yes that's the place I found on Google earth, street view. All boarded up, ready for demolition. Just like
    MUD, the place will slip away into history.
