Appreciate it is difficult to source locos, especially at such short notice, but any update/clue as to what may replace the N2?

Looking on the latest timetable on the website 22 is doing the N2's trains and Ring Haw is doing the Yarwell freight/brake van rides

I know every effort is being made to source another loco but it's proving difficult due to other events or locos out for winter maintenance

Nice to see Orton Mere being used as a passing loop. What is the stock being labelled as 'Local' on the timetable?

A mk1 as in 'one' mk1? That'll be standing room only, or is it just for demo and not passenger service?

Yes just the one as it is based on a branch line stopper service, it is for passenger use

I guess it would have been full and standing had it been the N2 on it as originally planned - probably won't be so bad with No 22.

Steelworks? There wasn't any steel works on the line, seeing as though the nene valley line is part of the old LNWR route, it's perfectly suitable
