    Interesting first post....

    Not sure how it's 'tacky' unless you have a very different definition of the word.

    Besides, those in GB (and NI) are the ones who paid their TV licenses and therefore paid for the programme to be made, why should others be allowed to watch it for free? I can't think of any other National broadcaster or private TV company who gives their products away for free.

    The German TV programme 'Eisenbahn Romantik' has episodes freely available on the www and YouTube. I watch them frequently, but don't live in Germany.
