Whilst perusing this archive for campanological purposes, I noted that Castle No. 5059 is listed as "Earl of St Aldwyn". I can find no way of contacting the webmaster to have this corrected. If anyone knows him, might they suggest that the "of" be removed!

For the uninitiated, we rang 5059 changes of the method, which we named appropriately; the tenor bell weighing 8cwt - 0qtrs - 27 lbs. "Sir Felix Pole" is to be attempted next Thursday.

If anyone does know how to contact him, a Mr John Daniel I believe, I badly want to discuss sharing data. Even tried getting our ISP (we're on the same one) to contact him for me, but they won't pass on unsolicited mail which I reluctantly suppose is fair enough...

Deary, deary me. A bellringer is a bellringer not a campanologist! :)

And Deary should be spelt Dearie (as in Dearie Me) methinks ;)

If that's how you fancy spelling it - both are equally good.

Surely not "good", but both are equally valid?

It's a bit early in the morning but 'good' seems perfectly adequate morphosyntactic anaphora in idiom <shrug> (in contradistinction to the original campanological/bellringing comment at least).
