What's the history behind red ends on W&LLR Brake Vans? Most models I've seen don't have them, but it seems to have at least been the case at some point?

I think that is a 'hangover' from Cambrian days when the std gauge versions had red ends.

W&LLR Van #2 is currently running in Cambrian condition with red ends. As ilvaporista says it was the Cambrian's livery.
