Some great shots there thanks. I particularly like the double header on the first train of the day at Oldbury cutting, coinciding with the solar eclipse, although you wouldn't know it from the photo!

Seconded - an excellent collection Clive, the good weather yesterday really adds to the shots. That goods train behind 1501 is also most impressive - the SVR wagon team should be very proud of that.

    Regards,

    Dan

Saw the results of the fire but how did 'breaking down' cause it?

Went down to Bewdley yesterday and took some shots on the line north towards Arley. Managed to catch all the visiting engines, though it wasn't until after dark I got to see the Coal Tank. Unfortunately due to other commitments I can't get over there today and Sunday, but yesterday was great. Thanks to all at the SVR for putting on the show.

Must have misread your post. It was YOU that broke down. Bit of luck that it seems.

Spent a great day at the gala, with my wife and daughter. Good variety of locomotives and the services were not completely rammed! Staff were as ever very helpful and friendly. I also bagged a few railway modelling bargains too!

    Hello,
Most of the GWR wagons used are owned by the GWR 813 Fund. We also pay for their overhauls. Yes well done SVR wagon team ...also well done the Fund!

From the stanier mogul fund stand at Kidderminster. I actually managed to avoid spending in the 7812 shop, although there was lots I could have purchased! Always next time.

I bought an 82045 poster yesterday unfortunatley I left on the 1616 off Bridgo long shot I know but if anyone's found it or handed it in I really would be most grateful. Just tried ringing the booking office at Kiddy but no joy.
