Any type of S15 is a good move, as it fills a glaring gap in the Southern market. However, as Hornby have previously done the Urie-style cab on the 'Eastleigh Arthurs', its probably not too much of a stretch for Urie S15s to make an appearance at some point. Might save up a bit of money for a late-crested version (when available) and a 'Radial', providing the smokebox door nonsense has dissipated. The 700 class looks an absolute beauty. However, I await my O2 from Kernow, which has been on order for the best part of two years- need to make sure I have £104.99 in the bank at that point!

    That'll be the HST then..

N7 has been floating about out there for a long time, someone's going to admit to it at some point.
There's also too much smoke for their not to be a fire around a transpenine class 124 soon, though I suspect that may be our Nordic friends behind that one.

The N gauge Pendolino Kickstarter was not successful. However it is being made. You can place an order with a 50% deposit with the reminder due by the fourth quarter in 2015 or pay the full amount. Models are estimated to arrive around March 2016.

    The options are:
11 car Royal British Legion Poppy livery 390103 Virgin Hero - £345, DCC Sound £440 (includes donation to the Royal British Legion)
    11 car - £335, DCC Sound £430
    9 car - £300, DCC Sound £395
    5 car - £220, DCC Sound £315

There is also an additional 2 car add on for £42 (full deposit)

UK & Europe customers can order from http://www.revolutiontrains.com/shop/
Anyone from the rest of the world can order from http://www.rapidotrains.com/pendolino2.html

    Evening all,

Had notification that the J15 that I pre-ordered from Hattons back in October has been packed and is on its way.
Is there any one else on the forum that has ordered one?

Id like to see Hornby do a new model of the Collett design Auto trailer, to nicely complement the Bachmann 6400 in GWR livery, whilst it is nice that Bachmann have done the Hawksworth design trailer it would be nice to have a decent model to tow behind both the 6400 and new DJ Models/Hattons 4800/1400!

Another maker is about to announce an RTR model of it as well. Seems Hornby are going to do the first version before mod's and the others are going to do second and third mod' types.

I best remember them in final form prior to rebuild, so i will wait for that version to show before purchase. By the time they hit the streets i guess they will be around 200 quid each.

Interesting development. However, there were so many detail differences between each batch, it took until the third batch for a 'standard' to be set.

I'm awaiting my Kernow O2 before I even consider making any further purchases... E4 looks a beaut, though.

Must admit i would like an O2 as well but the weathered 700 is due June and that's on order along with an Adams from Oxford and the S15 is said to be coming later this year. Add them to the Birdcage Stock and Wickham Trolley still on order and that's a pretty hefty possible bill by the end of this year !

Like you I'm waiting for these models. Plus I've started buying o gauge locos which puts the costs up in a big way.
