VT - 25th April changed to York - "The White Rose"

Letter and emails on their way to the passengers who booked with us on the 25th April to Liverpool.


Dear Passenger,

We thank you for booking with us on our steam railtour “Ticket to Ride” 25th April, 2015.

Primarily due to gauging complications at Edge Hill and thence pathing difficulties, we are unable to visit Liverpool on 25th April as offered. We are extremely disappointed as I am sure are yourselves; this is the second occasion we have been unsuccessful in reaching Liverpool in recent months. Please accept our most sincere apologies.

As an alternative, we are proposing to visit the ever-popular Cathedral City of York on the same day. Unfortunately we will not be able to stop at the originally planned intermediate stations; the new passenger pick-ups will be Tyseley, Coleshill, Tamworth, Burton-on-Trent and Derby.

With regard to your booking with us we can either:

1. Travel with us to York on the White Rose – 25th April, 2015.
2. Transfer your booking to one of our alternate trips.
3. Offer you a credit note for use on any future Vintage Trains or Shakespeare Express trip.
4. Offer you a full refund.

Seats to York Available in all Classes:

• Premier Dining: £160 per (Table for 2 - £15 per person supplement)
• Club Class: £100 per
• Standard Class: £79 per
• First Class Compartment for 6: £550 per Compartment
• Enthusiast Class: £95

Pickups at Tyseley, Coleshill Parkway, Tamworth (HL), Burton-on-Trent and Derby.

We do not PLAN on taking the 47 with us.

 

Will the route from Derby to York and return be via Leeds, or Doncaster can you say ?
