Well it looks to me like nothing is running out of the Southall shed this month at least. Makes me wonder, if maybe, my jokey comment about WCRC not wanting ORR NR or RAIB poking around down there might not be far from the mark.....

I sincerely hope the water supply at Millerhill has been sorted ?, we had to endure an epic delay at Waverley once, whilst 71000 was dragged all round Edinburgh looking for an alternative supply, all to no avail unfortunately, we had to be dragged back all the way to Tyne Yard to water, before the Duke could take charge again! The run back to York was absolutely stunning from Durham, consistently in the low eighties, arriving in the early hours.

So exactly how are WCRC to blame?

Why should there be any blame? It was a simple statement saying that I had seen it.

My apologies, my comment was not aimed at your statement but a sideways shot at some of the members of this forum who seemingly hold WCRC and David Smith responsible for everything they perceive to be wrong or even disappointing about anything in the whole world. I'm sure that one of the more "creative posters" will find a way.

No problem at all, no offence taken (and I know what you mean!) It was my first visit to that site as I only joined today.

Great shame. It looked superb on the webcam leaving Crewe.
