    Back in 1977 which was the Silver Jubilee year, i visited the Isle of Man
    i have started 3 collections taken then
    The first features the steam railway
    on my trip up the line i was hauled by double header
    12 Hutchinson & 11 Maitland seen here at Ballasalla

    Back in the mists of time, well 1977, which was the Silver Jubilee year, i visited the Isle of Man
    i have started 3 collections of photos of the 3 main narrow gauge lines there
    The first featured the steam railway
    this collection features the Manx Electric Railway
    and to celebrate the Silver Jubilee car No. 25 was specially adorned
    all 4 photos at Laxey

    Some lovely memories of the last year when the original Isle of Man Railway Company ran the railway - sadly the following year the destruction of the once timeless charm of the railway began - a great shame, thanks for posting these photos Neil
