Buckland this afternoon, lousy light, coasting green loco against a green backdrop and that horrible humid weather where it is raining yet the 500 yard walk from the car is hard work. One to try again in winter!

I cabbed her at Victoria on way back from business meeting. DBS driver reports good strong run with the only slight slip on the Shalford to Dorking climb. Otherwise an A OK run. Inspector on duty today was Bristol based Geoff Ewans. (pardon the pun, but he was just CHUFFED to bits over Bristol City's superb season and promotion. He did offer his sympathy for Plymouth Argyle not doing the same!).

It appears this was 35028's last Pullman turn for some time as the proposed final turn on the 27th June has been cancelled according to UKSteam
I was looking forward to seeing her last turn on the Pullmans.

Same here, I was looking forward to seeing that run.
According to The Belmond website the next steam hauled British Pullman is 8th August, which is
fully booked so it's freeloading only if you haven't already booked to go on it.

Just to confirm the 27th is still running. It's a private charter that is why it doesn't show on the Belmond website.
