    Hello Folks,

Could anyone help me in tracking down Cheltenham and District Light Railway Tram 21 and Swindon Corporation Tramways Tram 13. Both survive, somewhere, but I just can't seem to find out where they are!

    Many thanks

    Chris Auckland

It would appear that the Cheltenham and District Light Railway Tram 21 is held by Cheltenham's Museum (since 1992) in storage. To quote from their website, http://www.cheltenhamartgallery.org.uk/Default.aspx?page=141
Mind you in the Gloucester Citizen newspaper, on July 7th 2008, it was reported ...
Nice picture of it in 1965, restored at Crich https://www.flickr.com/photos/train-pix/8468880150/

But you probably knew all that anyway! :)

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for the information. I've managed to track down 21 and we're in dialogue over it.

    Many thanks

I know the whereabouts of the Swindon tram. What is your interest?

    Hi Neil,

I sent you an email back on the 19th May about it.

Interest is as a Wiltshire resident and tram enthusiast who is keen to preserve 13, along with 21 and any and all relics of the South Western tramway networks, and hopefully open an operational tramway somewhere around here.

    Chris

    Hi Chris

Sorry, I don't seem to have received that. Can you please re-send to buttersn@aol.com? Do you have any resources to assist with restoration?

    Regards

    Neil

    Hi Neil,

Has there been any progress or developments with No. 13? It's a unique piece of western transport history
