My footage of 35028 'Clan Line' on her farewell run. Seen at Church Brampton, Church Lawford, Beeston Castle and Promised Land Lane, near Rowton.

From memory when 35028 visited the MHR the other year. I did notice one of the crossheads stamped with 35005 on it. From memory it was the left handside one.

Although Clan Line very likely has many parts stamped with other loco's numbers (some fitted by BR, some retrieved from Barry by the MNLPS), there probably won't be any surprises this time around. This will be her 5th overhaul in private ownership (I think)

The MNLPS has been there with her before. She is actually fairly authentic - as much as any locomotive is once a Works (in this case Eastleigh in the past) gets hold of it. Just adding to the general point already made by SpamCan.

Thank you for posting this, Andy. Good that 35006 is a step nearer completion. Although off topic as far as this thread is concerned, I was also pleased to read the other snippet of news on the blog - that 3850 would be working the last two months of its "ticket" at the GWSR.

As of two weeks ago the frames and wheelies were sat at the end of the NELPG shed.
