    Another visiting loco is coming to the Kent & East Sussex Railway! GWR 0-6-0 pannier tank 5786, currently in London Transport livery as L92, will be coming on loan thanks to our friends at the South Devon Railway. She will be running daily between 3rd and 16th August.

    Come out of hiding - I totally agree. It's a shame none of the ex-LT panniers have been involved in the LUL events over the last couple of years. Still something to look forward to I hope.

    L92 is in her way, she's due to arrive at the K&ESR around Friday lunchtime.

    She'll be in traffic everyday from Monday 3rd until Saturday 15th August.

    We're looking forward to hearing the bark of a 57xx once again, it's been a while!

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    The original post said she'd be running daily between 3rd-16th August, but the quoted post says 3rd-15th? Which is correct as I'm in the area during the 16th-22nd August and would love to see her running!

    She's now safely in Rolvenden yard she'll work her first train on Monday. The original plan was for her final day to be the 16th but unfortunately she has to be on the lorry home that afternoon.

    What a fantastic engine she is, very popular with our visitors and staff. Please come and see her in action, we'd love to see more visiting locos on the K&ESR but need your support to justify the cost of transporting and hiring them in.
