    Many years ago when I was at primary school, the owner of the above-named traction engine lived on our street. He used to bring it to our school fête and let people come up for a look. One of my earliest memories of steam was being allowed to ride home with him at the end of the day from our school up the road to our house (hard to imagine that happening now, I would have been about seven or eight I guess).

    All of that was the best part of forty years ago. When he died, the engine moved away when the house was sold, since when I have never seen her.

    So purely on the assumption someone here might know - does the engine still exist? And if so, is it still operational? Does it ever go to rallies? I'd quite like to see her again!
