Which may be planned, or at least "routine", maintenance.

Don't think it's been suggested otherwise, either here or in Fellsman thread.

Picture of 46115 at Helwith Bridge. I also recommend the ale plus the steak and ale pie, chips and veg in the Helwith Bridge hotel as well DSC_15608.jpg

The following DMU was delayed too - RTT says it was cancelled between Skipton and Leeds due to power supply failure. Signal failure at Blea Moor?

Well there was a few flashes of lightening between Ais Gill and Long Preston as I drove south and a few flooded roads in the Gisburn area.

Also notice the northbound Carlisle train lost a lot of time between Settle Jc and Blea Moor according to RTT.

Nice shot but the lack of clag and vegetation shows why most photters don't bother much in the summer months. Roll on the Autumn

Whilst Eric Treacy would not have had as much vegetation to contend with, warm weather and lack of visible exhaust never bothered him nor many of his contemporaries.

There may be clag in the Autumn but there are an awful lot of leaves to go somewhere.

Something to thank WCRC for - i.e. providing coal for their fleet that generates plenty of smoke for the photographers and it seems occasionally not a lot of heat for those who hope for good loco performances.....

Eric Treacy openly admitted he only went out on sunny days and never in the winter months
