    "Awesome" is a very over used word when describing anything, but not when applied to Deltics in my opinion.

    Pure brute power and looks to match........."AWESOME"

    Steve that was a Deltic and there the resemblance to a diesel ends
    We were lucky enough to see them on the ECML in their heyday They were AWESOME.
