Does anyone know if any more of this class (sisters of "Naklo" on the South Tynedale) still exist? Over 700 were built, apparently. I'm surprised we haven't seen more of them in the UK.

I'm surprised that the STR hasn't tried to acquire another - I'd have thought that the tender version would be ideal for them as their railway gets longer.

The LAS at the West Lancashire Light Railway has the side tanks off Naklo. From what I have read, due to removing the side tanks, Naklo was very light on the foot, with having less weight over the drive axles, it was terrible on a wet day on the steeper parts of the line.
