Looking on the MHR web site today. Anyone with a free weekend can help move this piece of railway heritage back to the MHR

Good to hear of this piece of preservation, but it's too late for the goods station building at Harrow, it's been demolished as part of a housing development of the old Metropolitan goods station site.

I'm lead to believe it's going to be used as an education tool to show the general public how a signal box works. I've been told it will be installed at Ropley on the top car park area.

No it is not Lee, it is going into Medstead yard.

Unless this has been changed in the last few days.

I can see it if I look out of our office window, as it is temporarily being stored in the corner of the business park car park (by kind permission of the landlord in agreement with MHR) where I work which is just down from Medstead and Four Marks Station until such time it can moved to its new home.

One of the Monday lads tells me it is being moved to Ropley on Wednesday by road. Shame I'm working I would have liked to have seen it being craned in.
