All ready at Preston with diesels detached. Then Plan B. One diesel reattached. A problem with heat. You couldn't make it up. By the way. Signal problem allegedly so we will be about 20/25 late away. So that's 11 for 500 plus tons.

53 over Coppull. Felt like a steam effort. At Wigan 25 down.

Doubt if help is needed with two up front, and electric heating does work better...

Both locos working well as the train swept through Kearsley station - looked a fine sight in the morning sunshine. Around 100 locals had turned out and seemed well informed that the train was running late (thro' 10.55). The ETH on the back was ticking over.

Can we get something right about his trip please.

Considering it's going into Peak district, it should be called "The Tin BAF".

That's how they speak oop there. I should know, I've got a lovely Derbyshire lady friend. :):):):)

All a bit messy as we are held on the east curve at Romiley waiting for a gap in services so we can take water. 50 down and counting.

Is there any plans to shorten the scheduled stops at Wakefield & Brighouse ?? Surely a few minutes can be made up. Copy Pit in the dark won't be much fun.
