Yes the instruction is to stop at Norton Platform. I'm confident folks can get out and use the platform to stretch legs/take photos but someone who works in Ops can comment and confirm, please? The Platform takes four coaches only so folks may have to walk through the train to be able to get out. BTW good views of the run round can be had from the (standing) train, esp at the Minehead end of the rake.

Yes, this is permitted.

 

I presume you mean the 1030 departure from NF. 34070 from NF to BL. 53809 attaches at BL to double-head forward.

Gerry comments "As you can see, it actually had no shed plate on Sunday 6th March 1966 when it double headed (with 8F 48706) a Stephenson Locomotive Society special from Green Park to Bournemouth and back; this train was the last to do a complete round trip over the line and the very last to enter Green Park station with passengers aboard."
