Purbeck Mining and Mineral museum

Are pleased to announce their inaugural model railway exhibition on the 12 and 13 of March at the museum site. 1000-1700 sat 1000-1600 sun
There will be eight or nine layouts plus a miniature railway. Entry is by donation (min £3) accompanied children free. miniature railway extra. Refreshments available.
There will also be a small display of model engineering.

 

A new resident 2ft diesel locomotive arrived today, Ruston 48DL No.392117. The locomotive worked on Faye's tramway in the 70s which gives it historic significance. https://www.facebook.com/purbeckmineralandminingmuseum/posts/959665280783443
