Provisions have been made for a fourth guest should we get one, but on the same note we have everything set up incase there is only the 3x locos. Hopefully release details within the next fortnight.

The gala has started and the S160 6046 that has only recently returned to service looks to be in fine voice. Two clips from the first run up to Ipstones on the Saturday morning. Working hard and noisy going up the bank but quieter coming down.

We've certainly had some cracking events already this year, 5619 in snow / Winter Steam Gala / Military Goods. And we've not even got to the main operating season!

I'm booked on what appears to be the only supper train this year, in June.

Really looking forward to seeing the line and enjoying some food and music too!

 

There a supper train in June, July, August with 2x in October.

 

Thanks. The website must have been updated in the last day or two. It only showed the June train when I booked (and up to a day or two ago when I looked again) and as my voucher expired in July I didn't dare leave booking any later in case the June one filled up and I had no other one to book. I'd held on as I hoped there would be a curry one, like last year, which ran before I'd received the vouchers as a present. In the event, the sausage and mash supper plus live sixties music is the best one anyway because that's my era music wise
