It looks like electric to Carnforth, Steam to Carlisle and back to Crewe, as there is a path Crewe to Carnforth on Friday, and from Carnforth to Crewe soon after 11am, Saturday.

Galatea had no problems when she did this last time out...

Anyone on it or am I on my own?

Galatea crawled over Shap at about 11mph when cold started from Carnforth on the Cumbrian Coast Express last year.

This is a WCRC path. Also there is a now a path on Saturday evening from Crewe to Butterley, so maybe 46233 will be in charge ?.

Let's hope it is steam to or from Crewe as this is the reason I and probably many others have booked on this train.

Well, you never know. Ok, I'm going.

Well if it's the coast, that rules out 46233 ! So, still nothing 100% confirmed with all these paths in the system.
