It is getting close to the launch of the National Railway Museum's LMS Period 1 Third Open, 7828, which has been restored to running condition by the LMS Carriage Association. Over the years photos and videos have been taken capturing the work undertaken. These have now been edited together into a 4 minute video which you can view via the following link:

    Hope it is of interest.

If only it did take 4 minutes to restore:rolleyes::Joyful:. It's also great to see another vintage carriage hit the tracks again. And in it's pre British Railways colour scheme. As with pre British Railways engines, no doubt Wilcox and the Steam Beano will not be best pleased:Arghh::Hissyfit:!

^Thanks for your kind words. He had our launch yesterday, which everyone enjoyed. Hopefully there will be a video out soon of it.

    Cheers,

Would love to see this as part of the SVR LMS set. Paired with 7511 in the same livery would look the DB along with the BGZ currently at Kidderminster.

Well, you never know. Perhaps 7511 and the BZG could have a little jolly to Derbyshire :)
