Many thanks to all at Statfold for yesterday's enthusiasts Day. It was my first visit and I was very impressed by the whole set up. The engineering facilities were much more comprehensive than I expected and everywhere was very clean and tidy which is usually a clue to the culture of a place.

Oh and the trains were very good too!

Hope I will be back again in the not too distant future.

A brilliant day out, with trains trundling past every few minutes. It was great to see my favourite Statfold loco "Minas de Aller" in operation. The newly restored Hudswell Clark No 1172 was worth the journey alone - another gem to the collection. Thanks to Mr Graham Lee and all involved for a great day out
