Thought someone had renumbered 4472 to 2750 there for a moment!

Slightly off topic, there was a book published a very long time ago entitled '2750 - Legend of a Locomotive' which was fiction but based on the achievements in the 1930's of a Top Shed-based 2750 Papyrus.

I've got a battered old copy which I 'acquired' from the school library in around 1970.

Cracking read, anyone else seen it?

Yep! It is a cracking read and a good source of info for anyone looking for the basics of how a large steam locomotive works. We had one in the school library too which my best mate 'aquired' ....mine came from a railway book dealer in Chester, complete with original cover :)
