    • 1450 GWR 0-4-2 Tank
    They will be joined by:
    • 4144 — GWR 2-6-2 Prairie Tank
    • 6023 King Edward II — GWR 4-6-0 Tender Locomotive

    Good day out there today - plenty of changes on the running lines, shunting around the site, turntable in use etc. What I want to know is which of 9466 and 6023 was blowing smoke rings! They were double heading at the time so hard to tell but as we were waiting for our train home the kids pointed out very distinct rings drifting away from the two in steam!

    Ha,... now that's interesting. I can't speak for 9466, but someone else mentioned smoke rings when we were giving the King a (solo) test a couple of Fridays ago. Being on the footplate at the time I didn't see it myself, but at least it shows everything in the smokebox is aligned (especially Jos's new blast pipe).
