I've been looking through the Kerr Stuart works list mainly for the Skylark class and note that among the scores of locos sent to Mauritius from this builder to the sugar lines, I have never seen anything in print of any of these railways or their British built locos.
The gauges are very varied too, i.e. 60cm,70cm,80cm,85cm,3ft1.5" some locos next to each other in the works list built for different gauges but going to Mauritius.
I know there is a preserved Skylark on the island although it is impossible to verify exactly where, all quotes are vague.
    Has anyone got anything more?

Thanks for that Ray, Unfortunately not a great site, I've looked before, snapshots of little bits of info all over the place.

Although you say "not a great site" it is the best out there, and a very useful resource which someone has put a lot of work into.
It isn't organised the way I would do it either, but hey, I didn't do the work...
There are images of all the Mauritius preserved locos (and bits) on there except one.
The KS Skylark in on this page: http://www.internationalsteam.co.uk/trains/mauritius06.htm
Try Cntl-F if you can't see it.

Thanks Andrew, Yes I've seen these photos before and It does now say where the Skylark is, The main thrust of my request is any photos of when the Kerr Stuarts were working on the various lines.
    Thanks.

I think photos of working steam in Mauritius are hard to come by. Finding photos of the standard gauge Mauritius Government Railway is hard enough, apart from the very last train...
