    The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway's Diesel Weekend 6/7th August 2016 sees our intensive timetable in operation with the first ever two train running taking place using loco hauled stock, also it will be the first opportunity to ride behind class 20 D8098 on loan from the Great Central Railway, Saturday evening there will be a beerex and curry train taking place using all 3 locomotives.

    Loco's expected are; Class 33103 "Swordfish" , Class 25 D7629 (from the GCR Nottingham) and Class 20 D8098 (from the GCR)
