Yes I am an active volunteer
A German friend has just e-mailed me to say that the Ochsle schmalspurbahn in Baden Wurtemburg yesterday afternoon badly suffered the effects of a torrential downpour with devastating results.

    Streckenschäden in Kürze behoben

This is good news. I visited in 2014 and enjoyed a trip over the line. A typical undulating ng common-carrier line and even though the train was a fair length the VIIK wasn't taxed too much. I think I am right in thinking that the owning company / society were forced to suspend traffic a few years back due to the state of the track & his flood damage can hardly have been welcomed.
