There is a 5Z81 move on its way from York to Carnforth via Hellifield, approaching Keighley 1232 Fri. Presume this is 48151 going home. Move is not on Real Time Trains. HTH, AN

Good example of why I don't try arty shots too much, looks naff to me.

 

A very harsh self judgement, IMHO. There must surely be plenty of room in any portfolio for the "glimpsed" view of a subject that sits somewhere slightly left of centre in the spectrum of imaginative approaches, and perhaps even nods appreciatively to the Colin T Gifford school of railway photography? There's no shortage of conventional three-quarter views of Lizzie, but this image sits better in the memory, and in particular sits better as an example of "how things are seen" rather than just "what is seen". I like it. So there!!

Looks good to me. If you don't try the unusual views and locations, you won't have the chance of taking that attention grabbing unusual shot.

Cancelled due to 'customers request'. Been reported on Facebook that a steam leak was found last night.

 

Anyone aware of the consist of this move today and whether 76084 is heading it in steam?
