Confirmed -

 

0850 off Sheringham and 2200 into Carnforth, that's a bloody long day out!

Recently posted on "The Works " forum that an OTMR fault was discovered yesterday during the fitness to run exam.

5Z79, with 76084, seen at Peterborough

 

good to see a std 4 2-6-0 back out on the mainline, is 76079 still mainline registered since it was purchased by NYMR, ? or does it now not have the full mainline equipment so only can be used on Whitby workings, ?

 

I see that the path for the Carnforth - Blackburn test circuit has been activated for today

 

Still no Tyseley - Kidderminster path, cutting it somewhat fine considering it's supposed to be in SVR traffic tomorrow.

 

There is a chance it will run without a published path, just keep to yesterdays times. This would be an anti trespass tactic

Assuming she did all of Cromer to Carnforth that's one hell of a light test run - I would assume that a POB and a dead 37 is equivalent to a few coaches anyway.

 

Just seen Flying Scotsman heading through Moor Street. Bit of a surprise as I hadn't even noted that it was doing that trip today! Looked very fine indeed.
