    Spotted these in the works on Friday, any idea what they are from ?, only thing I could think of was the P2, but there were 3 sets rather than 4 ?, can't be that much currently in workshops with those kind of wheelsets.

    They could be for the P2. News from the A1 Trust in August included that "South Devon Railway Engineering (SDRE) at Buckfastleigh in Devon ... have been contracted to assemble the wheels to the axles, fit the crank pins and fit and machine the tyres" for the P2. I don't know what stage they may have reached or why one set of wheels might not have been in evidence.

    Bit hard to tell from the viewing gallery, but they looked a little on the small side for Mayflowers 6'2's, more 5ft something.
