    It is a great day out. Choose the right day and you can also see the worlds largest working triple expansion steam powered pumping engine in action in the Kempton Steam Museum which is next door to the railway.

    It is a really fearsome beast when it is running...... well worth a visit and staffed with really knowledgeable blokes who are very good at explaining the workings of the machine.....
