It'll be 46100 with POB. Other two guests are arriving by road this week.

Nothing like getting soaked to the skin for your hobby Steve although yesterday was quite dire on the LNW

Here is my short video of 46100 at Guildford yesterday:

Sorry about the quality of the pictures on my post yesterday. The quality seems to have been lost on the upload. They looked okay on my phone.
Also has anyone been having problems with Youtube lately? It took me two attempts to upload my video of yesterdays events. The first attempt I left processing overnight and it didn't work. It's happened a few times when I have tried uploading videos this year.

That's a nice capture of the reversing move. I have to say that I still think that the numeral '6' in the cabside number is wrong. Either it is the wrong style or, more likely, it needs to be rotated to the right about its centre by about 10 degrees.

As driver training continues, day 4 sees LMS 5XP Class 4-6-0 No. 45699 'Galatea' climbing the bank away from Carnforth en-route to Hellifield

Thanks for your kind comment. It's much appreciated.
The 6 does look a little odd. It doesn't bother me too much though. I was glad just to see this fine locomotive for the first time. I don't know about other folks views on here but I think the Rebuilt Scots are one of the most beautiful British Locomotive Classes.

I think you're right about the '6'. Here is a still from Green Five's video and a cabside shot I took of 46115 some years ago.
    You can see a difference.

I am sure that someone at LSL is feeling a bit sheepish about that business with the numerals. But, please don't let it get in the way of us appreciating the beauty of the Class as @green five has already remarked.

In fact, now that Galatea has finally started to perform like a proper (single chimney) Jubilee, I could almost forgive the appalling Letraset numerals on its cab sides!

Funny you should mention the name - I wondered if it is still carried when in Scotland - I can't see the plates on those shots or a recent Jacobite one.

Looking at the various times, steam. Water stop at Hellifield, then bypass the station to drop the steam off, then diesel back to Holgate before propelling into the platform for overnight stabling. But I may be wrong.....

I don't believe the nameplates have been carried since 2010/early 2011.
