    Just had the bad news that Princess Elizabeth has been cancelled for this and all pre Xmas excursions, boiler problems.

    Two black fives to substitute.

    Obviously disappointed as the main reason for booking has gone

    Probably because the scope of the previous overhaul work was quite limited. Now that there are more funds in the coffers, a lot of additional work is being planned in a second phase between now and next summer.

    Letter for passengers on today's ST train from Southend to Salisbury, from Clive Majonier on behalf of the owning trust, states that the engine has returned to Butterleigh for the replacement of 120 tubes.
