Looks as if 5Z36 is now at P 11 - hope it is The Duchess and not the diesel that has come from Carnforth

I suspect by now the passengers will be more concerned about getting home on time rather than what's pulling them.

Looked like a 47 having a ride to me from my coach behind 5043.

47 on back when it drifted past me. Regardless, a fantastic sight of two steam locomotives either side of an island platform. It doesn't happen all that often.

And to give the pax a chance to get out of the station and enjoy what was left of their day out??

According to Realtime Trains it passed Loversall Carr Junction 77L so there appears to be no holding back in trying to recover as much lost time as possible.
However, being booked 6 1/2 hours-ish on the return it should not be beyond a Princess Coronation Class I wouldn't have thought to achieve quite a lot of recovery.
This assumes watering is done as timely as possible and those pesky scheduled services don't get in the way!;)

Looks like quite a bit of time lost between Doncaster and Retford
