Reciprocated. NP has been the better for the SGT contributions, amongst others of course, so long may they continue.

31/12/2016 - LMS Black 5`s - 44871 piloting 45407 "Lancashire Fusilier" on 5Z38 from Carnforth to the East Lancahire Railway via Copy Pit crossing Accrington Viaduct.
These will be the first steam engines to use the newly instated Todmorden curve.

The intention was to use the top level of the Arndale centre for an higher level shot but it has now been fenced off and these were taken through the bars on the next level - also blocked off to traffic. DSC_14297.jpg DSC_14292.jpg

Shot of the Fives heading through Copy Pit. Apologies for the transition mid way through, but an uninvited guest came up the opposite line, just at precisely the wrong time.

Happens to us all Terry, nice footage all the same. I wonder if the person in the white car which parked up as the '5s' went under the bridge had intended to phot them? Oh dear......

Shouldn't bother about other traffic, it happens, and most would leave it in as it does not necessarily spoil the shot.

Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows (White Room). A favourite line.
