Should have been around in 2005 when power cars were stored in Minehead after release by Virgin Trains.

I've seen pictures. Hoping they use green HST and be able to picture it next to the hall/manor

 

Oh not sure if there would be anything still green there. Visiting manors being black

 

The visiting Manors won't have arrived in May. 6960 will be the only green loco about then.

HST125 minus 100mph. Just My humour not to be taken seriously.

Hoping there's a diesel in service. Would make a great day out via a wsr ticket

 

Given that it raised a laugh, is there anyone out there in 'Nat Pres land' who could do the design work for an 'inter-village 25' badge based on the below and the WSR's heritage DMU?

Back in the very early 1980's there were a number of WSR logos and catch phrases on timetable hand-outs, I can remember "Think again, take a train, Quantock Rail" and "Inter-Village 25". Others may remember the exact year they appeared and if any written evidence remains of either. These were predominately aimed at the all DMU Saturday services which carried large numbers of Butlins visitors on change-over days, no steam on those days to slow up the shuttle services between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead.

Doing a part fare from Frome. Like that they've used green hst on poster, be nice if D7017 was out as well. And have both in picture taken.

 

Is there much open on BL station Saturday. Will be visiting on DMU

 

Museum, shop, cafe, easy walk into village to admire the new roundabout works. Lethbridge Arms, Bird in Hand, fine church......

How quickly time passes. It was a year ago today that 4F 44422 arrived at the railway.

The loco has proved very popular with the general public and enthusiasts alike. <BJ>
