Doesn't this line branch off the one that goes to Whatley Quarry too ?, think they'd have something to say about someone getting under the feet of the stone trains.

forecasts of passenger numbers and costs are conspicuous by their absence. It seems to me to be someone looking at a map and thinking "there's a line that needs re-opening, I'll start a fb page"

I went cycling with my two oldest yesterday from Kilmersdon to the end of the line at Radstock.

While the track is not overgrown the line now ends up at the end of a single track road in a new housing estate.

I find it hard to imagine planning consent for a new station being granted due to lack of access.................

From what I know of the planning agreements, it has allocated space for a single platform station in case of future desires to revive the line on a commercial basis, which I gather is being negotiated by some open access rail operators
