Yes, there is, I checked!

 

Six out today, according to the website! (and its still not a gala!).

 

That's happened before. The issue is more about sustained availability over the operating season.

 

I'm well aware of that but it is still fairly worthy of note. I think there's a fair chance that next year will see a better start to the season, unless the NYMR is hit by some seriously bad luck at the time.

 

Another arrival at NYMR today when I arrived for my 2nd trip on 2807. Lovely. Looks like the Western has arrived.

 

76084 should have arrived tonight, as well.

2807 worked 1540

 

has 2807 left yet or is she still under repair at grosmont?

 

2807 is ready for service and I understand that it will be in use over the Wartime Weekend on the NYMR over the period 14-16 October. I hope to be able to attend on one of those days. 2807 is due to return to the GWSR after 4 November subject to all things being equal.

Tried using the NYMR new website to find out about services with Royal Scot. Thought that it was good overall but not exactly as clear as it could be on where to find information. Putting links on using a photo is good overall, but a little more clarity there might help.

No real information on supporting services in main information either.

The teak coaches will look good painted in the new livery what ever it is.

 

I know it's an April Fool, but I reckon that painting a Black 5 purple is a great idea if only because it would cause David Wilcock to go the same colour.
