Is this something to do with the BBP? If so, is it 60163, 35028, a diesel or something else? Anyone know anything?

That's bad form. Not certain that Belmond will be all that pleased.

Yes, D345. It's the move that should have taken place last Friday but didn't because of a fault on the loco.
    Due back at Castleton 17-34.

There doesn't appear to be any activity on the RTT schedule for Tornado's test run tonight. RTT playing up or 60163 not quite ready yet? The schedule was activated this afternoon.

The railway press reported about 18 months ago it had been acquired by the Royal Scot & General Trust to become part of the IoS stable. At the time it was said to be fitted with parts belonging to another loco as part of an undocumented arrangement with the late former owner pending new components being manufactured. This seems to have held up the final transfer of ownership.

Did anyone see Galatea yesterday? I presume she was towed in light steam, with the equivalent of heavy strapping and an ice-pack on the wounded parts.
