Another reason to provide the roster for free on the internet, it can updated at will up to the last minute!

  2. Anyone know if I can get a WTT with locos without going to railway to get one?

I telephoned the railway at Minehead on 01643 704996 for a gala souvenir. I paid by debit card.
I was informed that the WTT is included in the gala souvenir. I hope that they're correct <BJ>.

The GWR 813 Fund Sales Stand will be at Williton during the gala. Pat Goss will be manning the stand, so anyone wanting to know more about the Fund and the Funds wagons on the WSR please speak to Pat. I hoped to be there on Sunday.

  6. I need to plan for friday and Saturday so wanting to know the usual stuff. Which locos on which service and SB facing which way.

You can order a gala souvenir programme, which includes the loco allocations, from their website. I ordered mine when I bought tickets and it arrived yesterday.

Without giving much away, disappointing the lack of runs both guests 5199 and 1501 cover Saturday.

Great to see the Goods out on Saturday and Sunday.

With this new almost May date and the added daylight hours this brings, with set A(4) on the 1645 exBL, possibly this could have ran back to BL as a 1845 ish train (maybe limited stop?) and then a 0900 train up to Minehead Sunday morning?

Any news on the availability of 53809? Where does 76017 fit into the WTT? Does anyone know which set ( A4 or C4) is the blood and custards? Thanks.

I don't know the answers to your first 2 questions, but, from the ops notice leading up to the gala, A4 should be the blood & custards.

  15. Now have allocations. Can we assume all SB facing or not do you think?

I'm assuming they're all smokebox first except where it's indicated that they're not, as on the day I'm going there are a couple of notes on the timetable showing when up freights are tender/bunker first following the Crowcombe run-round.

I'm also assuming 53809 = 76017 now (which is a bit of a shame for the day I'm going given how little 53809 was rostered for on that one), and that if there are any more complex changes to the roster in the brochure then they'll be clearly communicated between now and Thursday.

When I ordered my ticket I couldn't find any means of ordering the programme.

I have received an email which tells me that it's an e-Ticket. I assume that I simply print this out and use it as a normal ticket (at the recent Swanage Gala I received an email which I showed at the booking office and they gave me a gala ticket)? In the past I've always received a ticket in the post.

I wonder how an e-Ticket would work for someone doesn't have a printer?

If you don't have a printer and you have a capable phone to show your email confirmation you can just show the TTI the email, BUT you have to be positive the the phones battery will last the day

Presumably you also need to be confident that you can get a signal when the TTI comes along.
