Sorry cant help with the price for the shuttles, last time if i remember correctly is was £6, I am sure it will be posted as soon as anyone has the info.
The class 20's are planned to arrive this Wednesday, the info I have also says that it is booked for a class 50 to bring them in, no promises because it is third hand info.
I also cant help with when 7820 arrives

I took a trip BL-TN-BL on the shuttle last time it ran, and I think it was £5 return.

Yes it was £5 the last time it ran for the Mixed Traffic Weekend a couple of years ago, but it was £6 at the Autumn Steam Gala, I have just found the old post on here from last year.
We will have to wait and see!

A fiver or six... it is still very good value, and worth supporting the GWR service.
The journey is across rarely used track for the public, and well worth seeing.
There is an old adage... use it or lose it.

I see the shredder has the BL3 diagram tomorrow, I can't help but think if the 26 would have been used instead a few punters may have tripped out for it, but I suppose driver knowledge may be the issue there

 

The loco was probably having it's final checks on Saturday as it was in steam and moving around the yard at Toddington .

From what I saw courtesy of YouTube a fine selection of cars , very surprised by the number of Sunbeams , not a car that I've seen in great numbers in preservation especially the saloons or am I mistaken? Was the 4x4 an Austin Champ ? Thank you .

Just seen 7820 arrive by road on the BL webcam @ 1630

 

Yes I was there as well, I was the Fireman on 53809 sat in the station about to leave when 7820 and its tender rolled past. It looked spotlessly clean/ We also saw 2 x Class 50, 2 x Class 20’s, a Class 26 and a Hall all on shed, plus of course our 09 shunter, it was rather a cramped site !!!

 

Sorry but I'm confused, are GWR saying I can get rail travel to Taunton, the shuttle train to BL and a diesel gala rover all in one price? Sounds too cheap.
