    Nice to see no diesel on the back, unlike the Steam Dreams tours. Also nice to actually see it blast through a station that does not have a speed restriction for this loco.

    Surely nothing to do with Steam Dreams to take or not a diesel on the back? Operational decision by WCRC for many different reasons which have been debated ad infinitum and beyond already on this forum!

    Its the same as I used to hear at Huntingdon when spotting ,V2 were the same .LMS men working thro Huntingdon on the Kettering to Cambridge branch used to make similar remarks about feeble LNER whistles.
