The Jacobite 2017

It's been a "challenging" week weather wise for photography up here combined with chronic roadworks (four sets between Fort William and Lochailort!) has meant photo opportunities have been more limited than usual which is a shame as the leaves and vegetation are very brown and Autumnal this year.
The sun finally shone albeit briefly today for a pleasing image at Loch Nan Uamh viaduct. We had started early and got the increasingly rare shot of steam in the spectacular location of Monavessie gorge.

Yes Ive had plenty challenging weeks up there but the potential outweighs this

 

To answer this - if you don't have anything specific to say (or ask) but just enjoyed the video (which I did) then why type anything, especially as if everyone that liked the video or photos posted comments to say Very Good (or similar) you could easily end up with a thread that is only a few updates of actual content and hundreds of updates saying that was good

 

One from yesterday featuring LMS 5MT No.45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' crossing Glenfinnan Viaduct. This was about the best of the 'brightness' yesterday. No luck today either.

I was at Glenfinnan videoing earlier this year and an RAF Typhoon flew beneath me and round the corner down Loch Shiel, causing a bit of camera shake and the need for my swearing to be edited out, a little annoyed as that was my only planned shot there.
If that a C-130?

A lot of people would not post if they thought they couldnt rely on the charge of the LIKE brigade every time they post'.
Maybe a nat pres apron and handshake would be a good idea lol

 

Now getting a Tiffy at low level would have been a bonus for me.
