Here's my take on Saturday's Santas, the two Black Fives, 50027 and 33202.

 

According to the MHR web site on the Spring gala page. An additional guest loco to be confirmed shortly. I wonder what’s going to be added to the line up.

Well, there is quite an obvious candidate for this Gala currently residing at Southall, a large green Pacific very much involved with the End of BR Steam in 1968....

Absolute corker of a shot! Superb. Anyone know if the two Fives are rostered for use between Christmas and New Year? Don't have time to get down to the MHR at the moment.

Black 5's doing the 'Santas' again this morning! Pretty parky at Ropley early doors!! Much respect to all involved in running the services, thanks.
