    Here I have a photo taken at Port Erin, on the Isle of Man Railway back in the summer of 2012. It was something of an opportunist shot, taken through the Guards Ducket of the Brake carriage. The Driver or Fireman [not sure which] had coupled up and performed a little light maintance/adjustments to the engine before reboarding the loco.

    Great idea for a thread, I like to get some human interest shots when I can. A few below:

    The driver over 'Sir Keith Park' concentrates as he shunts on to the rear of a passenger train at Carrog, during the most recent Llangollen gala.

    A chance capture at the NNR Autumn Gala, as a lineside fire was set by a previous train right by where I was standing on the bridge above. The crew of the next train along took care of it, as seen here.

    A couple of photos taken in September 2016 - firstly Erlestoke Manor drawing the crowds at Eardington on the SVR...in fact they were waiting to see Flying Scotsman on the next departure from Bridgnorth.
